Annual elections are held in May

1. The president notifies the band at the first rehearsal in May of the election schedule.
2. At the second rehearsal in May the slate of nominees, prepared by the board, is announced and any nominations from the floor are received.
3. At the third rehearsal in May, elections take place by secret ballot and results are announced at that rehearsal.
4. Within two weeks after that election, the new board meets to elect a president and secretary/treasurer from within their ranks, who serve one-year terms. These officers may serve consecutive terms.
